A service to remember and support journalists, photographers and support teams covering the conflict in Ukraine, will be held at St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street, tomorrow (Thursday 24 March at 11:30am).

The service will be led by Canon Alison Joyce, Rector of St Bride’s, with music performed by the renowned St Bride’s Choir. Raphael Wallfisch, the internationally renowned cellist, will be playing solo.

Canon Joyce, Rector of St Bride’s, says: “Our ministry to journalism is one of the most important and distinctive aspects of our life at St Bride’s.

“It seems appropriate at this time to hold a special service for all those involved in reporting the conflict in Ukraine, both those under fire in the country and those further afield who are attempting to bring us the news.”

The service is open to all and free to attend. Tickets are not required but St Bride’s have asked if those attending could register your interest to attend – “to help us manage numbers and enable us to keep you updated about the service”.
