Networking at the Cheshire Cheese – 12 February – Special guest Dick Durham

We meet on the Second Tuesday of every month at 6 pm in the Johnson Room on the first floor of Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street. Join us for the latest in our season of regular ‘Second Tuesday’ visits to this historic pub – a favourite of Charles Dickens. Invitations are open to working and retired journalists, students of journalism and members of other media groups. If you’re interested in the UK media, why not come and join us for a chat?

Our special guest for this first event of 2019 will be former Daily Star journalist Dick Durham whose book “Guttersnipe!” has been described as “that rare thing among the egotistical memoirs of Fleet Street: it is candid”. He will be speaking about his latest book “The State of Magnolia: Diary of a mind lost to dementia” which talks about looking after his mum.

Honorary Treasurer and Director of the London Press Club and the London Press Club Ball.
