Is Your Job Making You Ill?

The London Press Club is hosting an exclusive in conversation evening with Dr Ellie Cannon on her new book ‘Is your job making you ill – How to survive and thrive when it happens to you ’ interviewed by BBC news presenter Samantha Simmonds.

Dr Ellie Cannon is best known for her weekly health column in the Mail on Sunday and as the on-screen GP for Sky News Sunrise and the regular doctor on LBC’s Health Hour. They will discuss the causes of job related illnesses and practical advice on how to deal with it. There will also be a panel discussion on mental health in the workplace. Joining Ellie and Samantha on the panel will be James Ski – a high-performing businessman who is the Founder of Sales Confidence, the largest network of technology founders and sales professionals in the UK.

At the age of 21, James was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. Since that day, he has lived and learned to find the positives of living with a mental illness. He juggles this with working full-time to provide for his three children. He will be talking about his own experiences and also how to help others.

Tickets are free for London Press Club Members and £5 (including VAT) for guests. Click here to book.
