The London Press Club has been running the annual press ball for the past five years and so far has raised more than £200,000 for the Journalists Charity. The ball is a glittering upmarket event attended by chief executives, editors, journalists and television presenters and programme makers from the major national newspapers and TV companies. [...]

Former BBC journalist and independent MP, Martin Bell will be the second person to volunteer to be ‘grilled’ in front of an audience of London Press Club members. The lunchtime event will take place in May or June this year. Details to follow once finalised.
